With over two decades of experience, founder and wealth advisor at Genesis Wealth Sijo Job has earned a reputation as an experienced financial professional through an unrelenting dedication to his clients’ success.
After learning his trade at a major firm, Job made the daunting jump to becoming independent at Genesis Wealth. This move has enabled him to unlock new opportunities to better serve his clients.
“The biggest achievement of my career was going independent and betting on myself after building my foundation at a large institution,” he says. “It allowed me to create a more personalized, flexible experience.”
Earning his clients’ trust is paramount to Job, and something he does not take lightly.
“Trust is my strongest professional quality, and I never take it for granted. I work hard to earn it by listening closely, being transparent, and consistently delivering on what I promise.”
And the high levels of trust earned by Job are indicated by impressive retention and referral rates.
“Most of my new clients come through referrals from existing clients, which I’m very proud of,” he explains. “I retain clients by delivering a high level of service, staying proactive, and being present during important life and financial moments.”
Market volatility was a significant challenge for any advisor to overcome over the past year. However, Job keeps his clients on track by reminding them of their long-term financial plans.
He says, “The biggest challenge is helping clients stay disciplined when markets are volatile and emotions run high. I deal with it through proactive communication, clear planning, and keeping clients focused on long-term outcomes instead of short-term noise.”
Job also works constantly to ensure that his own mentality remains focused on the long term to provide pertinent solutions for his clients.
“After more than 20 years in the industry, I live by the mindset of trusting the process,” he explains. “Long-term success comes from patience, discipline, and staying committed to the fundamentals even when markets are unpredictable.”
While Job has become a seasoned advisor with ample experience, he refuses to rest on his laurels, aiming to improve his skillset every day. He also understands the importance of consistently excelling at the fundamentals of his role.
Looking to the future, Job is committed to increasing engagement and education within his client base to pursue sustainable growth. He also aims to expand on the technology tools he currently uses, while staying razor-focused on his clients’ long-term financial success.
