“As my client base and staff have grown, it has become less about me and more about how I can empower others to embrace our carefully crafted culture”

It was a mixture of chance and necessity that inspired Tim DiSette to enter the wealth management industry, where he has served clients steadfastly since 1990.
After graduating from Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications, he struggled to find a sales position in Texas during the recession, while many in the oil industry were out of work. The newly married DiSette moved back to Kansas City, MO, and his father referred him to Cigna Financial Services, where he enlisted in the training program.
The rest is history as DiSette has become one of the foremost wealth advisors in the state of Kansas, and in 2017, he helped establish Infinitas, an independent advisory firm made up of 22 advisors across all demographics.
He leads the firm’s retirement plan consulting team, which creates and manages employer-sponsored plans. Passionate about helping people prepare for their financial future, DiSette dedicates much of his time to meeting with both the plan sponsor and committees as well as plan participants to discuss strategies for achieving their retirement goals.
He says, “Helping people understand complex planning in a very simple way means people feel trust and confidence that their family and business will succeed in making the right decisions.”
Infinitas places tremendous importance on onboarding clients and being committed to them when they have a significant life event.
“An early mentor told me that my clients’ problems would mostly be good, sometimes bad, but if I could [solve] their problems as though they were my own, I would be invaluable. I feel I treat every client’s money and family as though it were my own and I don’t remain complacent with an ‘adequate’ plan,” explains DiSette.
“As a result, our referrals are significant. On the qualified plan side, I have an amazing team that never leaves the side of the COOs, CFOs, and HR professionals. This trust results in great loyalty.”
DiSette sees challenges at Infinitas as positives.
“[We’re] keeping up with substantial growth with regard to staffing, processes, portfolio management, and maintaining our goal of comprehensive planning for people’s complete plan combined with a thriving qualified plan business,” he says.
He also seen his two sons develop within the practice, harkening back to his father helping him begin his path. Seeing their trajectory has been a proud achievement in his career.
“Consistent communication with clients regardless of market conditions and the growth and development of my two sons as co-advisors on my team have been key factors to our success, as they are taking on significant portions of our growth,” he comments.
DiSette plans on partnering with other advisors to become a resource for their qualified plans and outsourcing needs as well as developing the next generation of advisors.
“I am also rededicating myself to outbound marketing in the qualified plan space to grow that part of the business,” he says.

With over 25 years of experience, Glazer has received a collection of accolades throughout his career, including:
“From my earliest memories, I always had a passion for service,” says David Pickler, president and CEO of Pickler Wealth Advisors.
After joining investment bank PaineWebber in 1984, the CEO decided to pursue a legal education with the hopes of combining this passion for finance and the law.
“I found equal fulfilment in advising in the legal arena. I began to build a plan for a career that could serve both sets of clients. I wanted to fulfil the dream of building a practice that could incorporate financial advocacy, legal advocacy and, eventually, tax and accounting. A place that was truly client-centric,” reflects Pickler.
With certifications in private wealth and financial planning and a law degree from the University of Memphis, Pickler established his firm in 2005.
“Pickler Wealth Advisors opened with a team dedicated to delivering unparalleled client service. Our goal was to set new standards of excellence. We were, and still are, dedicated to client service that exceeds that found at wirehouses.”
With over 25 years of industry expertise, Pickler knows that establishing client trust is all about communication. The firm’s robust strategy includes an array of weekly market calls, podcasts and television episodes that educate clients and provide updates on recent market occurrences.
As a result of his outstanding dedication to client services, Pickler has won a number of awards:
Barron Magazine’s Top 1,000 Financial Advisors
Financial Times Top 400 Advisors
Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisor
Forbes Best in State Wealth Advisor
Financial Planning Magazine Pro Bono Planner of the Year
Boston Magazine Five-Star Wealth Manager
As a testament to Glazer’s dedication to providing leading financial management services, Mayflower Advisors holds a 98 percent client retention rate – serving three generations of clients.
Despite being in business for 50 years, Glazer remains dedicated to reimagining how to better partner with the next generation of clients and their families.
“We live and breathe relationships and service. We have been through it all – recession, financial crisis, bull markets, inflation – and along the way we can see what works. We have helped hundreds of families retire, finance their dreams, and send their children and grandchildren to college. When the families call and thank us or send pictures, it is incredibly rewarding.”
Glazer recalls dinner conversations as a child with his father sharing valuable financial lessons that he still uses today.
“We talked about savings, the dangers of debt, living within your means, paying down your mortgage, and not being impressed by flash. We employ those same basic lessons in managing risk and educating our clients,” says Glazer.
“At the end of the day, we are in the business of serving others and understanding their values,” continues the co-founder. “Our practice strives to offer a culture of stability, accountability, and teamwork, focusing exclusively on serving the long-term financial life management needs of our clients.”
With over 25 years of experience, Glazer has received a collection of accolades throughout his career, including:
