Lisette Cooper, PhD, is vice chair of Fiduciary Trust International and former CEO of Athena Capital Advisors, an award-winning outsourced chief investment officer and wealth management firm she founded. Athena merged with Fiduciary Trust International in 2020. At Fiduciary Trust International, she leads the firm’s impact investing practice and serves on Franklin Templeton’s Management Committee. In 2021, she was named one of Worth magazine’s 50 Women Changing the World.
Cooper earned her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and her PhD from Harvard University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has served as an expert in residence at the Harvard Innovation Lab. She also serves on the boards of numerous social justice, education, and environmental organizations.
