Entrepreneur and cowboy are both fitting descriptions of Josh Pierce. He got his start in agriculture early, working alongside his grandfather on the family farm in Iowa. After earning a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business with a focus on farm and ranch management from the University of Wyoming, he began his career in finance, specializing in commercial lending to agricultural businesses. He went on to serve as the CFO of a construction company before completing a financial planning certificate at Texas A&M.
Through that work, Pierce saw firsthand the gaps in financial services available to rural families and business owners. He founded JH Pierce Wealth Management to help close that gap and bring more comprehensive, coordinated money management to rural communities.
Over the past seven years, Pierce has built JH Pierce Wealth Management into an award-winning firm serving families and business owners across rural America. The firm follows a “planning first, implementation second” philosophy across three integrated service areas: personal and family financial planning, business growth and exit planning, and 401(k) and employee benefit plans.
