Emma Boston established and leads Raymond James’ Succession and Capital platform, a strategic initiative designed to help financial advisors create choice, protect continuity, and realize the full value of what they have built. She developed the firm’s investment fund to provide advisors with flexible capital solutions for growth, liquidity, and succession. Her work reflects Raymond James’ longstanding commitment to advisor independence, practice ownership, a client-first mentality, and a long-term approach to partnership.
Succession and Capital helps advisors navigate some of the most consequential decisions they will face, including ownership transitions, partial monetization, and internal succession. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, the program brings together strategic capital and succession expertise to create thoughtful, advisor-led solutions aligned with each business’s objectives. The platform is designed to provide liquidity while focusing on what matters most to Raymond James’ advisors – preserving client relationships, maintaining control, and protecting long-term legacies.
Boston has a background in equity investing and corporate strategy. She joined Raymond James as assistant to the chair, where she worked on strategic priorities for the firm’s C-suite. She earned an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA with honors from Duke University.
