“As my client base and staff have grown, it has become less about me and more about how I can empower others to embrace our carefully crafted culture”

Shari Rash is the founder of GWA Wealth, a virtual financial advising firm. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she transitioned her practice to a fully virtual model out of necessity, but quickly discovered its benefits for her clients. Virtual financial planning removes common barriers like battling traffic, taking time off work, or finding childcare — alleviating some of the stress from what can already be an uncomfortable conversation about finances.
Shari takes a financial-planning-first approach when working with clients, emphasizing personalized strategies to help them achieve their goals. Recognizing a gap in accessible financial guidance, she created Financial Foundations, a comprehensive and tailored program designed to address common financial questions often overlooked by traditional advisors.
Shari believes that when smaller financial questions go unanswered, it can undermine confidence in making larger financial decisions. Financial Foundations starts with the basics — the lessons we all wish we had learned earlier — and builds from there to help clients create wealth and gain lasting confidence in their financial choices.
When she’s not helping clients plan for retirement or achieve their financial goals, Shari can be found chauffeuring her children (13, 10, five, and five) to their many activities.

As a testament to Glazer’s dedication to providing leading financial management services, Mayflower Advisors holds a 98 percent client retention rate – serving three generations of clients.
Despite being in business for 50 years, Glazer remains dedicated to reimagining how to better partner with the next generation of clients and their families.
“We live and breathe relationships and service. We have been through it all – recession, financial crisis, bull markets, inflation – and along the way we can see what works. We have helped hundreds of families retire, finance their dreams, and send their children and grandchildren to college. When the families call and thank us or send pictures, it is incredibly rewarding.”
Glazer recalls dinner conversations as a child with his father sharing valuable financial lessons that he still uses today.
“We talked about savings, the dangers of debt, living within your means, paying down your mortgage, and not being impressed by flash. We employ those same basic lessons in managing risk and educating our clients,” says Glazer.
“At the end of the day, we are in the business of serving others and understanding their values,” continues the co-founder. “Our practice strives to offer a culture of stability, accountability, and teamwork, focusing exclusively on serving the long-term financial life management needs of our clients.”
