“As my client base and staff have grown, it has become less about me and more about how I can empower others to embrace our carefully crafted culture”
David Pickler
Mayflower Advisors
Born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle, Jordan Jobe has earned a reputation for being one of Arizona’s best financial planners.
As owner and founder of NextGen Advisors (Raymond James), he has driven the firm to become one of the fastest-growing financial advising firms and currently one of the largest finance investment firms owned/founded by an individual under 40 years old in Arizona.
This company brand is all about multigenerational wealth. They educate clients and their families on how money works and what strategies they can use to build wealth over not only their lifetime, but their next generation’s lifetime.
NextGen believes that giving back to the community is another way to aide in the achievement of their clients’ goals. The firm is committed to bringing in and training the next generation of financial professionals through its internship program.
“Our program is for college students to allow them the opportunity for career exploration and development while attaining new skills,” says Jobe. “There is a gap in our industry for bringing in younger talent and this opens the door for unique possibilities to college students outside of their academic studies, which may lead to full-time job opportunities in some cases. It is my goal to help create an impact for those seeking the financial advising route.”
He adds, “The single biggest achievement of my career thus far has been building a company that reflects my values and that my family, my team, and I can be proud of. I love to share not only my expertise but also my shortcomings readily with friends, family, and strangers alike. My drive does not stop at being successful in business. I surround myself with a strong web of family, friends, and mentors, bringing out the best in everyone.”
Jobe always wanted to be a business owner, thinking his path would be in the restaurant and franchising industry.
“A mentor gave me some valuable advice while I was still in college: work on the frontlines as a manager of restaurants to see if it was truly for me. I quickly learned that it wasn’t. That experience shaped my approach to choosing the right career,” he reveals.
“When I started applying for jobs after college, I made a list of everything I enjoyed and was passionate about, and everything I did not. I wanted to find a path that allowed me to focus on my strengths and passions while minimizing time spent on things I didn’t enjoy. Another mentor suggested I consider financial advising, and it turned out to be the perfect fit.”
Jobe believes being a young person in the industry has helped him succeed early.
“Early on in my career I always saw my age as a weakness, especially in an industry that puts such a high value on experience. I attempted to work harder than any advisor with more knowledge than myself and obtain more knowledge than anyone working harder than me,” he says.
“As time passed, I realized that my age was not a weakness, but in fact a strength. I found that clients liked the idea that instead of their advisor retiring halfway through their long-term plan, I am still going to be by their side 10 and 20 years down the road.”

“From my earliest memories, I always had a passion for service,” says David Pickler, president and CEO of Pickler Wealth Advisors.
After joining investment bank PaineWebber in 1984, the CEO decided to pursue a legal education with the hopes of combining this passion for finance and the law.
“I found equal fulfilment in advising in the legal arena. I began to build a plan for a career that could serve both sets of clients. I wanted to fulfil the dream of building a practice that could incorporate financial advocacy, legal advocacy and, eventually, tax and accounting. A place that was truly client-centric,” reflects Pickler.
With certifications in private wealth and financial planning and a law degree from the University of Memphis, Pickler established his firm in 2005.
“Pickler Wealth Advisors opened with a team dedicated to delivering unparalleled client service. Our goal was to set new standards of excellence. We were, and still are, dedicated to client service that exceeds that found at wirehouses.”
With over 25 years of industry expertise, Pickler knows that establishing client trust is all about communication. The firm’s robust strategy includes an array of weekly market calls, podcasts and television episodes that educate clients and provide updates on recent market occurrences.
As a result of his outstanding dedication to client services, Pickler has won a number of awards:
Barron Magazine’s Top 1,000 Financial Advisors

Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisor
Forbes Best in State Wealth Advisor

As a testament to Glazer’s dedication to providing leading financial management services, Mayflower Advisors holds a 98 percent client retention rate – serving three generations of clients.
Despite being in business for 50 years, Glazer remains dedicated to reimagining how to better partner with the next generation of clients and their families.
“We live and breathe relationships and service. We have been through it all – recession, financial crisis, bull markets, inflation – and along the way we can see what works. We have helped hundreds of families retire, finance their dreams, and send their children and grandchildren to college. When the families call and thank us or send pictures, it is incredibly rewarding.”
Glazer recalls dinner conversations as a child with his father sharing valuable financial lessons that he still uses today.
“We talked about savings, the dangers of debt, living within your means, paying down your mortgage, and not being impressed by flash. We employ those same basic lessons in managing risk and educating our clients,” says Glazer.
“At the end of the day, we are in the business of serving others and understanding their values,” continues the co-founder. “Our practice strives to offer a culture of stability, accountability, and teamwork, focusing exclusively on serving the long-term financial life management needs of our clients.”
With over 25 years of experience, Glazer has received a collection of accolades throughout his career, including:
