Prentice Wealth Management (PWM) was established in 2008 during one of the most turbulent financial periods in modern history. From its beginnings as a small firm with two professionals and $25 million in assets under management, PWM has grown into a thriving hybrid Registered Investment Advisor with 12 associates managing and supporting over $600 million in client assets.
Over the past three years, PWM has grown its footprint by acquiring and renovating a larger headquarters in Rochester, NY, while supporting regional offices near Boston, MA and suburban Charlotte, NC. With a client retention rate of over 99 percent, the firm proudly serves clients across 36 states.
The culture at PWM is grounded in the fiduciary standard, emphasizing client-first values, continuous improvement, and collaboration since its inception. In 2014, PWM expanded its reach by launching an affiliate model to support like-minded financial professionals with portfolio management solutions, financial planning support, and practice management resources.
In 2017, PWM introduced tax preparation services to offer clients a more convenient and cost-effective solution.
Beyond serving its clients, PWM encourages continuous professional development among its team and strives to be a positive force in the community. Together, these commitments define PWM’s unique culture.
