In a wealth management landscape increasingly dominated by scale and speed, Longevity Capital Management takes a distinctly different route – one defined by clarity, bespoke service, and a singular focus on the financial complexities of retirement.
This independent, proudly female-owned firm offers more than just investment advice; it delivers stewardship for clients navigating one of life’s most significant financial transitions.
Founded by veteran wealth advisor Terri McGray, whose three decades of experience anchor the firm’s philosophy, Longevity Capital Management brings the analytical rigor of institutional investment houses with the white-glove service of a private office to the mass affluent market. Leveraging a remote-optimized framework, the firm advises clients across the United States without compromising the depth of its relationships.
At the heart of Longevity Capital Management’s proposition is a clear understanding: retirement planning demands more than just asset allocation.
“We specialize in working with finance professionals, senior executives, and those with the means to retire on their terms,” says McGray. “Our clients come to us for precision, perspective, and the confidence that their financial strategies are aligned with life’s evolving realities.”
To that end, the firm has developed its proprietary PASS™ framework – Plan, Analyze, Strategize, Strengthen – a disciplined approach designed to adapt portfolios to shifting tax landscapes, rising income needs, and sustainability. It’s a model built not around market noise but long-term retirement readiness. It delivers portfolios that prioritize resilience, tax efficiency, and clarity, particularly important for clients exiting wealth accumulation and entering the drawdown phase.

“Alliant has achieved growth in each of these categories via a potent combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions with plans to continue on this forward trajectory,” explains executive vice president and director, M&A development, Stephen Farr. “Our goal is to achieve strong organic growth, over 10%, augmented by selective and strategic M&A activity.”
Breaking down the specific drivers of growth, Farr adds, “Alliant’s P&C verticals have achieved the highest level of growth in the brokerage space, and the company’s generalist producers have also been a beneficiary by virtue of producing more complex, industry-specific accounts via partnerships with Alliant specialty brokers. Our direct-to-consumer business has been growing at a rapid rate via acquisitions and alignment with other Alliant divisions on cross-selling opportunities.”
The firm enables its team to work effectively with a synergy-creating structure.
Zimmer says, “The Alliant experience is defined by best-in-class teams, service, innovation, and a dynamic and collaborative environment where we work together to achieve powerful, long-term results for our clients and partners. We proactively eliminate walls and silos within our organization, allowing our team members to be both responsive and innovative in their approach to serving clients.”
The firm’s profile was boosted with the launch of Alliant Consumer Group, a dedicated unit housing Alliant’s growing portfolio of consumer-facing operations.
There was also the creation of the Alliant Insurance Foundation in 2023, a charitable, non-profit organization focused on promoting justice and equality by expanding access to opportunities for career growth and advancement for individuals with diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Alliant also has an active philanthropy program. Across 2023, Alliant professionals collectively raised/contributed:
more than $1 million in funds
over $2.3 million in combined monetary and in-kind donations through an annual World Food Derby initiative
2,320 volunteer hours to numerous deserving organizations, making a significant community impact
Alliant’s progress is set to continue, as underlined by Zimmer, who has confidence in the firm’s people to deliver continued excellence.
“We believe in our business plan, and it has proven successful. We don’t feel the need to change that. Our core business plan will continue to drive the company forward, complemented by new opportunities that may arise in the future.”

Overall
This depth of strategy is matched by the team’s breadth of experience. Associate directors Ken Dawson (financial planning) and Deirdre Witter (portfolio management), director of ERISA services Randall Cohen, alongside senior client service and operations manager Dané Gilliland, form a leadership team defined by both subject-matter expertise and a shared commitment to ethical practice. Instead of pursuing asset growth that often comes with greater volatility, the team concentrates on client needs defined by sustained financial security, not fleeting gains.
Longevity Capital Management’s value lies in its independence. With no sales quotas, the firm is free to focus on what matters most: delivering sound, customized strategies rooted in client goals. Education is a core tenet of the firm’s approach.
“We don’t sell, we teach,” McGray notes. “Informed clients make better decisions, and we see our role as empowering them every step of the way.”
Being named a 5-Star Wealth Management Team 2025 by Wealth Professional is testament to the firm's impact, but accolades are not the primary consideration.
“We define success by how well we’ve helped clients align their financial strategies with their life goals,” says McGray. “Ultimately, it’s about building trust and delivering peace of mind through every market cycle.”
By blending technical acumen with emotional intelligence, Longevity Capital Management offers a rare kind of wealth advisory, one that sees both the numbers and the people behind them. In an industry increasingly focused on scale, it remains boutique by design: highly selective, profoundly personal, and unwaveringly client-first.
McGray adds, “Our clients know they’re not just getting a smart investment plan – they’re getting a trusted advisory team who sees the full picture and stands beside them every step of the way.”
