Thomas M. Dowling is head of wealth management at Alliance Global Partners of the Lowcountry, serving clients from both Hilton Head, South Carolina, and New York City. With over 30 years of wealth management experience, he brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to helping individuals and families navigate financial complexity with clarity and purpose.
Prior to joining Alliance Global Partners, Dowling led the East Coast expansion of a publicly traded investment banking firm and served as vice president and senior advisor at a regional advisory firm, earning recognition within both the Chairman’s Council and President’s Circle. He later founded Quadstar Capital Advisors, a boutique firm dedicated to ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Dowling holds both the CFA® designation and the CFP® certification – an uncommon combination that reflects deep technical expertise and a commitment to holistic planning. He also completed the CIMA® program through The Wharton School.
Beyond his professional work, Dowling is deeply engaged in his community, serving on several local boards and coaching youth sports. He is the founder of The Resource Group, a forum for business owners to connect and grow. A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
