With over 33 years of financial advising experience, Matthew Lytell is a seasoned wealth management advisor and the founder of Riverwalk Wealth Advisors. He joined Northwestern Mutual in 2005, establishing a reputation for excellence in working with affluent clients across the country.
Before his tenure with Northwestern Mutual, Lytell earned dual majors in finance and marketing from Syracuse University. His financial advising journey began in 1990 with American Express Financial Advisors, where he ascended to the role of field vice president. In 2001, he joined Raymond James as vice president and director of the private client group.
In 2023, Lytell achieved notable recognition, securing a place on Barron’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors for the third consecutive year. He was also honored in Forbes’s Best-In-State Top Financial Security Professionals and Forbes’s Best-In-State Wealth Advisors in both 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, the Financial Times recognized his expertise by ranking him among the Top 400 Financial Advisors in the Industry in 2019 and 2020.
Lytell resides in Tampa with his wife, Mili, and their energetic children, James and Ainsley.

As part of an ongoing effort to attract the best talent, Chen-Zhang has set up a system that gives younger advisors opportunities to learn and grow within her firm.
She says, “I want our employees to know that our goal is to promote from within, and with hard work and determination, they can grow to become the best versions of themselves.”
Earlier this year, Zhang Financial was ranked no. 6 on Forbes’ list of America’s Top RIA Firms for 2023. Describing the award as one of the proudest moments of her career, Chen-Zhang remains eager to continue serving her clients and building upon this year’s success.
